Caitlyn Bobb Nearly Runs Fastest 300 Ever At PG Sportsplex


Harford Tech junior Caitlyn Bobb ran the third fastest 300 meter time ever at the Prince George's County Sportsplex on Monday to break the Maryland 2A classification state meet record in the event with her 38.93 performance. Bobb was only a tenth of a second off the facility and overall Maryland state meet record back in 2010 by Aurieyall Scott of Eleanor Roosevelt at 38.83.

It was part of another big state championship for Bobb, who has garnered numerous past state titles to her resume over the last two years. Bobb repeated as well as a 500 meter dash champion comfortably in a time of 1:16, while also anchoring her 4x400 meter relay to a come from behind victory and overall time of 4:04.
