Top 7 Sprinters to Watch at New Balance Nationals Indoor


These are the top 7 sprinters to watch out for at the 2020 New Balance Nationals Indoor.

John Curtis' (LA) Corey Wren is built with speed. The three time Louisiana indoor state champion will be looking for his first national title. 

Buford High School's (GA) Kimberly Harris won the 400m last year, but will be focusing on the 60m and the 200m. 

Representing Detroit Renaissance (MI), Dylan Brown is looking to be an All-American once again. He has run the fourth fastest time in the country with a 21.30 in the 200m. He will also be a contender in the 60m. 

The girl's 400m field is completely wide open. Aaliyah Butler of Piper High School (KS) will be the top contender for the title as she holds the US No. 1 time (53.03). 

Solomon Strader of West Ranch (CA) will be competing in his first 400m race this year. He has run a 46.59 outdoors and has been competed in the 600m indoors over the past two years. 

Bullis School's (MD) Leah Phillips has a busy weekend. The senior will be on the track for the 60mH, 200m, and will be running a leg on the 4x200m and 4x400m relays. 

In the boy's 60mH, Emmanuel Joseph will be the top contender. The junior from North Rockland currently has the US No. 1 spot in the 55mH. Hundredths of a second separate the top entries in this event.
