All-Decade Class Leaderboard: Sophomore Boys Distance

As a sophomore in the spring of 2016, Northwest's Chase Osborne was well on his way to becoming one of the state's top mid-distance runners of his class. After qualifying for the indoor state meet in the 800, Osborne first broke the two-minute mark at the Viking Invitational. He then ran his season-best time of 1:56.52 at the 4A West regional meet in one of the fastest non-state 800-meter races of the decade; his time earned him only fifth place, qualifying him for states based on time.
