Looking back at the performances from this past weekend's Virginia Showcase we thought it would be useful to contextualize the best ones. So, we stack them up against a slew of metrics from the 2020 indoor season - the last time Maryland saw organized high school competition. An important note: each performance stands on its own (the rankings below are not assuming the inclusion of any of the other performances in the list at the same time).
- MD '20 Rank: the ranking against all Maryland athletes during the 2020 indoor season.
- MD Class Rank: the ranking against all Maryland athletes in the athlete's grade during the 2020 indoor season. For example, a current senior would be compared to last year's senior rankings.
- US '20 Rank: the ranking against all American athletes during the 2020 indoor season.
- US Class Rank: the ranking against all American athletes in the athlete's grade during the 2020 indoor season.
