These rankings were calculated by scoring the rankings as a meet. We scored 20 deep for individuals and 20 deep for relays. For example, for individuals 1st place received 20 points for their team, on down to 1 point for 20th place.

The DeMatha Catholic boys are currently ranked as the number one team in the state after an impressive score of 206 points. They sit at a lead of over 40 points. Some of the top scorers include senior Sage Phillips who holds an MD #4 ranking in the 55-meter hurdles event, as well as an MD #5 in the 300-meter dash. His teammate, sophomore James Long, is the next highest individual scorer with 20 points by himself. Most notably, their relay team has accounted for 57 of the team's points as both their 4x400m and 4x800m relays hold the number one spots in the state.
