Pre- Season Cross Country Open Race at Baybrook Park

A great way to test your fitness before the season really starts. This is a challenging course with plenty of hills to keep you honest. Last year there were literally over 250 participants. This year the race is being broken up into divisions.

Knights Invite Open Cross Country Races

CourseBaybrook Park, Brooklyn – Near Meyers Pavilion. Grass and rolling hills, a challenging course. The hills are the highest points in Baltimore and overlook the city. Entire route is painted. Spikes or racing flats recommended.

Schedule

Race #1 – 5:15 – All Novice Runners – Boys and Girls, Men and Women who have never run a cross country race before and all incoming high school freshman

Race #2 – 6:00 High School Sophomore Men and Masters Men. All High School, Open and Masters Women

Race #3 – 6:45 High School Junior and Senior Men and Open Men.

T-shirts to the first 200 entrants and awards 20 deep men and women in each race.

Entrie Fees

19 and under - $10.00; 20 and over $15.00.

DirectionsFrom Baltimore

Route 2 South (Ritchie Highway) to route 171 (Church St). Left (East) at Church St. Follow Church St for 1.5 miles. Turn Left(North) at West Bay Avenue.

From Washington DC

Parkway 295 or 95 North to 695 (Balto Beltway). East toward Glen Burnie. Take Exit 3, Route 2 North to Brooklyn. Turn right at the second light, Route 171 Church St. Follow for 1.5 miles, turn left at West Bay Avenue.
