GIRLS PREVIEW

Team Preview: Poly comes in as the projected favorite but will have tough competition from both Mergenthaler (Mervo) and City College. Only 28 points separate the three teams which can easily be made up in a championship race. Mervo has a solid 1-2 punch and if they can have their 3-4-5 pack move up they could pull out the surprise win!

Individual Preview: Amelia Valdez (City College) and Ma'Kayla Hill (Dunbar ) are the only two girls to run under 23 mins for a 5k this year it is likely they will be battling for the win. Expect the race to come down to the last 400 meters.
