The battle for the Frederick Boys Championship should be fun to watch as Catoctin and Thomas Johnson are only separated by 2 points. Closely behind them are Linganore and Urbana who both have a shot to win depending on how the night unfolds. Catoctin will lean on its 3 starts, Brody Buffington, Alex Contreras, and Furious Trammel to rack up significant points in the individual events. If they all run multiple events they should be in the driver's seat.
Thomas Johnson will rely on Luke Fremanis. He is the favorite to win the 55m Hurdles and should score points in both the High Jump and Pole Vault. Thomas Partlow is also someone who can score big points in distance events and is coming off a very successful XC season.
Kyle Walker (Linganore) is projected to score 24 points in the middle-distance events. It will be interesting to see which events his coaches ask him to run....
