Smithsburg looks to be in control of the Washington County Championships heading into the meet. Grace Ellis and Jenna Howe are likely to combine for close to 50 points in their respective events. Boonsboro is the closest team but are 62 points back in the projections They will look to their distance events and Pole Vault.

Lauren Stine (North Hagerstown) is a runner to watch. The distance star can score 20-30 points depending on how many events she runs and will be a favorite in all distance events.
