1 0	Oakland Mills High School	@ MPSSAA 2A West Region Championships	The Scorpians easily won the Howard County Championship and 2A West Regional scoring 172 points and 142 points respectively. They have the ability to break several 2A state meet records next week and don't have any weaknesses. They will be the huge favorite for the 2A State Championship.
2 5	Mount St. Joseph School	@ MIAA / IAAM Indoor Championships	MSJ upset Calvert Hall at the MIAA Championship, as the meet came down to the 4x400 and the Gaels walked away with the win. They have the ability to score points in any event and have some of the top athletes in the state in Charlie Butler and Matthew Goines.
3 1	Calvert Hall College High School	@ Millrose Games	The Cardinals drop a spot due to the loss to MSJ at the MIAA Championship however they are still one of the most complete teams in the state. Ricardo Cooper impressed this past weekend up at the Millrose Games placing 4th in the 60m running 6.83 seconds.
4 1	Catoctin High School	@ Millrose Games	Catoctin won the 1A West Regional last week. Brody Buffington continues to be on a different level than anyone else in the state. He may have been running with an axe to grind at the Millrose Games this past weekend when he ran 33.8 for 300m, the top time in the state. While he won't get to run that event at states since he was DQ’d for “unsporting-like” behavior, the cougars are still in contention to win the 1A State Championship.
5 N/R	Northern-Calvert High School	@ MPSSAA 3A East Region Championships	The Patriots won the SMAC and 3A East Championship. They qualified a lot of their athletes for the state meet and can score in multiple events. Ragiariki Lewis and Jordan Tuck are two of the top sprinters in 3A.
6 N/R	Severna Park High School	@ MPSSAA 4A East Region Championships	The Falcons won the 4A East Regional and will lean heavily on the distance runners to try to win a 4A State Championship. Liam Hagerty and Chris Nunn have shown they can run a strong 3200 and they have the depth to run sub 8min in the 4x800.
7 4	Old Mill High School	@ MPSSAA 4A East Region Championships	Old Mill Drops a few spots due to county and Regional performances but they will always be a threat with Joseph DeRosier. DeRosier is the best hurdler in the state and has run 7.40 for 55m, which ranks him 5th in the Nation. Due to his dominance Old Mill is in contention for the 4A State Championship.
8 N/R	Northwest High School	@ MPSSAA 3A West Region Championships	Northwest won the 4A West Regional Championship and has positioned itself as one of the contenders for the 4A State Championship. Gage Osborne can score big points in the distance events and Paul Rivers is one of the top Throwers in the state.
9 1	Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School	@ MPSSAA 3A Central Region Championships	Mervo is coming off winning the 3A Central Regional meet. Justin DeVaughn is one of the best hurdlers and high jumpers in the state. They also head into the 3A State Championship with the top-seeded 4x200 and 4x400 and will be one of the contenders to win the team title.
10 6	DeMatha Catholic High School	@ Purple Champions HS Invitational	While they have not competed in Championship meets Dematha still boasts some of the best sprinters and field event athletes in the state. They have run 1:31 and 3:22 for the 4x200 and 4x400. Anthony Waterman is one of the best Hurdlers in the state as he has run 7.53 for 55m and Aston McCullers is still the top-ranked pole vaulter at 14-0.
