The UCBAC Championship is back for another year. It has been a staple meet between
counties for many years. It is a way for athletes to compete against top competition in the area.
It is one of the last conference meets before championship racing season, so it is a good
indicator for things to come. This year the 15 teams apart of the UCBAC went to Perryville's
track to throw down some fast times.
BOYS RECAP
On the boys' side, Sydney Phillips from Perryville took the win in the shot put with a throw
of 47-07.00 (MD #19).
In the high jump, Meshach Cochran from Havre De Grace took the win with a
jump of 6-00.00, followed by Jared Adams from Elkton with a jump of 5-10.00.
In the long jump,
Cody Bazemore won with a very impressive jump of 20.08.00.
In the discus, Jacob Blankenship from
Northeast took the win with a throw of 130-06. Followed by Ricky McCall in second and Kyjhan
