Maryland Athletes Shine at U20's

Myla Greene (Bullis)

Greene shined as she ran 13.10 a new US#1 mark this year and #9 All-Time. She finished second in the 100 Hurdles and earned a trip to Puerto Rico for the Pan Am Games!


Quincy Wilson (Bullis)

Wilson once again showed he is one of the top 400m runners in the county as he placed 4th in the event, running 46.12 in the final. He ran a season PR of 45.87 in the Semi-Finals. 


Judson Lincoln (Oakland Mills)

Recent Oakland Mills graduate and current Virginia Tech athlete, Lincoln won the 400m dash at the U20 Championships with a time of 45.47


Tinoda Matsatsa (St. Andrews)


Matsatsa left no doubt who the best high school 800m runner in the nation is. He ran 1:47.76, just off his season best of 1:47.61. 


Elise Cooper (McDonogh)


Cooper re-broke her state record in the 200 with a time of 22.82. She finished second in that event, earning a trip to the Pan Am Games! She also finished 4th in the 100, just off her personal best running 11.44



Other Notable Performances


Womans 5k - Former Bel Air standout Elizabeth Pickett ran 16:58 to win the event. Nimrit Ahuja, who ran for Howard High School last year, was right behind her in second running 16:59.
