Anne Arundel Challege Kicks Off 2005

Yesterday at the PG Center, many teams from Anne Arundel and Howard Counties kicked off their 2005. The boys races managed to yield 18 elite performances including an impressive 1:07.5h time in the 500 by Kyle Rauser of Old Mill. With the performance, Rauser took over the top spot in the mdrunners rankings for the event.

Seth Woordward of Broadneck pulled out the victory in a stacked 800 meter race, also taking over the 1-spot in the rankings. Woodward\'s time of 2:02.4h bested Nick Keane who came in second place with 2:02.8h. Devin Regan and Jordan Hollachan also clocked times of under 2:05 in the race.

The 800 was not Regan\'s only elite performance of the night, he placed third in the 300 meters with a time of 36.1h. Antonio Thomas edged Regan out to take second with the same time, while Ryan Callahan took home the win at 35.9h. Callahan himself had a sweet double, tying for the win in the 55 meter dash with Tremaine Crayton each having times of 6.4h.
