Meet Information
The 7th Annual MCPS Consortia Cross-Country Championship Races on the Northwood Chesapeake Bay Trail are October 17, 2015. The entry fee for High School teams this year again is $135 for unlimited JV Boys and Girl runners and 7 Varsity boys. Please make checks payable to Northwood High School. Entry fee is due by October 1, 2015. Mail to

Be sure to have all entries registered here https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/Results/Meet.aspx?Meet=108523 by October 10 when I must send them in to Maryland Timing so he can produce the chips. Please do not register runners who will not run.
You will receive a flyer to share with middle school coaches in an effort to get their runners out. Please post the site to any community outreach you have http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/northwoodhs/athletics/consortia.aspx
Concessions and t-shirts/sweatshirts will be available for purchase.
The schedule below is what we ran last year and I got a lot of positive feedback, as opposed to high school runners running first early in the morning. It is tentative, so if youve read this much of the email and want to let me know any difficulties you have with the schedule, they will be taken under consideration. 10:30 AM Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens at the David J. Kaplan Stadium ticket booth
11:00 AM Courses open for course walks including elementary and middle school runner guided tour so they will not get lost
11:30 AM Race day registration closes for Elementary Race
12:00 PM Race day registration closes for Middle School Races
12:00 PM Elementary school 2.0 K
12:25 PM Middle School Girls 2.5K (Medal - 10, Ribbon - 15, Brag - 1 team)
12:45 PM Middle School Boys 2.5K (Medal - 10, Ribbon - 15, Brag - 1 team)
1:00 Race day registration closes for Open 5K
1:10 High School Coachs meeting @ finish line
1:15 PM Middle School Awards
1:30 PM Open 5K (Medal -top 3 M and F given at finish)
2:10 PM High School Junior Varsity Boys Consortia Championship 5K (Medals top 3 given at finish) (May be delayed to clear course of runners from the open 5K)
2:40 PM High School Girls Consortia Championship 5K (Medals to top 15, Consortia Cup to 1st team)
3:20 PM High School Varsity Boys Consortia Championship 5K (Medals to top 15, Consortia Cup to 1st team)
4:00 PM High School Varsity Awards - presentation of the Consortia Cups
