Meet Information
Date: April 9, 2016 starting at 10:00. There will be a coaches meeting with a breakfast at 9:00.
Entry Fee: $200 for boys and girls teams combined. $125 for single boys or girls team. Entry fee will be due on April 6, 2016. Please make checks payable to: Wilde Lake High School. All checks are to be mailed to: Wilde Lake High School, 5460 Trumpeter Rd. Columbia MD 21044, Attention: Matt Clever
Events & entries: We will have all regular season events. The 3200 and DMR will only accept the top 20 entries submitted and verified per gender. Each team may enter three athletes per event per gender. Each team may have on DMR per gender and two entries for each other relay event per gender. Entries will be completed on Athletic.net and will be due on April 7, 2016 at 9:00 PM.
Awards: We will award medals for 1st 3rd and ribbons for 4th 8th. There will be a team trophy for the boys and girls champions. We will score through 8 places: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. The DMR winners will receive a team trophy and individual medals.
Rules & Regulations:
There will be semis in the 100m Dash, 110/100m Hurdles. The top 8 times will qualify to finals. 9 will qualify for the finals the shot, discus, long jump, and triple jump. All other events will be finals only, places determined by time.
MPSSAA & Boarding States Sanctioned. MPSSAA rules will be followed. No Music Players allowed in the competition area. Relay Teams must have identical school issued uniforms. There will be weigh-in for throwing implements and pole vault. Athletes are not allowed inside the school and all contestants must be accompanied by their coach or school representative.
General Information: T-shirts and concessions will be available. The admission will be $5 (Children under 7 will be free).
