2016 Jim Vollmer Invitational
Date: Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Location: Watkins Mill High School, 10301 Apple Ridge Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20879
Facility: Spectator-friendly 8 lane, 400 meter newly resurfaced fast track and jump facilities. 2 long/triple jump pits/runways. Site of the 2016 3A South Regional Championship meet. The meet will be auto-timed (F.A.T.). Trainer will be on site.
We will run the 400 hurdles in preparation for Penn Relays, and the Jim Vollmer 1600 winners will receive plaques.
Entry Deadlines: Please complete entries on MileSplit.com. A limit of 1 A and 1 B relay entry. A limit of 4 entries per open events including field events. Entries are due by Saturday, April 9, 2016.
Entry Fees: $150 per gender, or $200 for both boys and girls teams. $15 for individual entries for the pole vault only if no team is entered in the meet. Fees are due by April 9, 2016. Make check out to Watkins Mill High School.
Bus Parking: Buses, please drop teams off at the Stadium. There will be plenty of parking in front of the stadium.
Concessions: Food & Refreshments will be sold.
Awards: Medals to places 1 3 in Varsity races
Plaques to first place finishers in the Vollmer 1600 run
