18th ANNUAL WESTSIDE CHALLENGE
DATE: Thursday, December 29, 2016 11:00am. No team may enter gym until 10:30am. The Coaches Meeting will be at 10:45am.
ENTRIES DUES AT 11:59 PM ON MONDAY DECEMBER 26TH!
SITE: Community College of Baltimore County - Catonsville
TRACK: Rubberized 160 meter track; racing flats only- NO spikes

SANCTIONING: The meet has received MPSSAA sanctioning.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
1. 40m hurdles semis/finals
2. 3200 meter Relay
3. 300 meter dash
4. 1600 meter run
5. 40m dash semi-finals/finals
6. 500 meter run
7. 3,200 meter run
8. 4 lap Relay (4x160m)
9. 800 meter run
10. 1600 meter Relay

Shot put (B, G)
NO POLE VAULT
ENTRIES: Entries must be submitted online via md.milesplit.com. Teams may enter 3 athletes apiece in the Varsity sections. Teams may enter unlimited numbers of athletes in the Open section who will not score or medal, but will receive official times. Relays- each school may enter up to 3 relay teams. But must designate one A relay team that is eligible for scoring and medals.
SEEDING: All athletes will be placed in heats based on their seed time; only 3 athletes will be eligible to score.
RESULTS: Results will be compiled using RaceTab Meet Management Software. Results will be emailed to the coaches and also posted on local websites (athletic.net, md.milesplit.com, etc.)
ENTRY FEE: $150.00 for boys and girls/($90.00 for single gender); entry fee deadline: Friday December 18, 2016.

AWARDS: Medals to the top four finishers in each event.
ADMISSION FEE: $5.00 for all spectators- Please share this with your parents.
CONCESSIONS: will be available; pizza, candy, water, sports drinks, and soda.
***In the event of bad weather, the snow date for the meet will be Friday DECEMBER 30.
***All Teams MUST CLEAN UP THEIR AREA before leaving the meet. The meet directors are shooting for a 5-hour meet!
***Each team is asked to provide two workers to assist with the meet.
