JAMES FRASER VALLEY RELAYS
At Middletown High School

Date: March 29, 2017 (Wednesday)
Starting Time: 3:30 pm
Plan to arrive after 2:30 pm to avoid our school departure (buses need to move to the Middletown Park to remain until after the meet)
Coaches meeting will be at 2:45 pm
Participation Schools: Entries limited to those approved.
Scoring:
Scoring will be done according to the National Federation Rule Book for the number of schools participating.
Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams.
Ribbons will be awarded to first through sixth place. (Varsity and B-races)
Entries:
Entry fee is $150.00 per school or 75 per gender

MPSSAA participation rules will be followed.
Event Information:
No spikes longer than shall be used on the track or jump runways. Need to be pyramid, not needle.
After the track events begin, no one will be allowed on the infield.
Lanes for each race will be drawn in the bullpen area before each race.
All field events will be computed as a team score. In the field events, the best performance of each athlete will be added together. Two entries in field events.
Each athlete will receive 3 jumps or throws in the triple jump, long jump, shot put, and discuss.
Pole vault will open at 80 for boys and 60 for girls and increase by 6 intervals.
The high jump opening height will be 410 for boys and 40 for girls.
The 4 x 100/110 meter shuttle hurdle relay will be 4 hurdles boys (36) and girls (30).
Go lines 4 from the starting line. Starting blocks may be used by all runners.
There will be 400 (Max of 2 teams per gender) , 1600 and 3200 relay B-races. We will also have a B-shot put for boys and girls with a maximum of 4 entries and a B-pole vault with unlimited entries.
Limited to the first eight teams to register and pay. Entry fees are due by March 9th.
