Hokies Ready For Their First-Ever ACC XC Championships Oct 27, 2004

Virginia Tech men\'s and women\'s cross country teams will compete in its first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30. This year\'s conference championships is hosted by the University of Maryland. The women\'s race will start at 10 a.m. followed by the men\'s race at 11 a.m. on the University of Maryland Golf Course, which is across the street from Byrd Stadium.

Fanning Becomes Virginia Tech\'s First All-ACC Cross Country Runner Oct 30, 2004

Freshman Jessica Fanning, Virginia Tech\'s first All-ACC cross country runner, led the women\'s team to a seventh place finish in its first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Maryland today. The Hokie men finished ninth out of the 11 conference teams with 249 points.

Cavaliers Fare Well at ACC Cross Country Championships Oct 30, 2004

Virginia\'s Will Christian and Emily Harrison earned All-ACC honors with top-10 finishes at the ACC Cross Country Championships, leading the men to a third-place finish with an upset of Duke while the women finished fifth overall, up one place from last year. The men upset #26 Duke and also finished ahead of Clemson, who received votes in the last poll.
