Meet Recap: Haley Wright won her second straight Frank Keyser Invite on home course at Boonsboro High with a 18:03 3 mile performance in the small schools race to kick off the 2015 edition of the Frank Keyser Invite. While she got out to a healthy lead early, not far behind at the end was Catoctin's Julien Webster in second place with a time of 18:09.

Wright also celebrated a team win with the Boonsboro girls (62 pts) as they finished with a team score 6 points better than the Liberty girls (68 pts), who once again had their 1-2 in Maeve Lyons (3rd, 18:37) and Heidi Rinehart (4th, 18:53) placing well near the front of the field.

South Hagerstown's Darren Harman was able to pull away from a quality field of challengers including River Hill's Trent Rose and Northwest's Branson Oduor for a 15:20 victory in the large school race. Harman continues to show himself as a legitimate contender for the 3A state title this fall as he continues to rack up first place finishes in invitationals this fall.

Trent Rose finished 11 seconds back in second place at 15:31 to help lead the River Hill boys (51 pts) to another invitational team title over another All-Maryland top 10 caliber squad in the Northwest boys (2nd, 77 pts) with Oduor taking fourth in 15:47 as their team's top finisher.

Smithsburg's Will Merritt was able to score a slight upset over Liberty's Nick Tilson in the small schools race for an 8 second win in 15:42. Meanwhile, Tilson (2nd, 15:50) and the Liberty boys were able to hold off the host school Boonsboro (67 pts) for the small schools team title with 64 points and averaging 16:45 as a squad on Boonsboro's 3 mile course.

Virginia dominated the large school girls race taking the top 6 places individually with Potomac Falls senior Deidre Gilmore cross the line first in 18:31 and the VA #1 ranked Lake Braddock taking the next 5 places despite sitting out majority of their varsity top runners to win the team title easily. Northwest junior Sofia Zarate was the top finisher from Maryland in the race with a time of 18:54 for 7th place.
