WATCH Sall place fourth out of a slow heat in the 500 at the Virginia Tech High School Invitational!
The Richard Montgomery freshman had but one performance under his belt heading into January: a 71.06 500 at MCPS Meet #2 in early December. From then on, things got ridiculous. He shaved three seconds off that time at the Montgomery Invitational, and then another three in a staggering upset at the Montgomery County Championships. He set another personal best at the Virginia Tech High School Invitational, finishing fourth overall despite running out of a slow heat.
