2016 Winner: Jaren Baluyot (Broadneck) 12'0
Baluyot backed up his 2016 state title by going undefeated this indoor season in the event as well. However, with the pole vault being such an unpredictable event, don't be surprised to see some new faces on the leaderboard by the season's end. One name to watch is Howard's Lucas Shilling who finished second at the indoor state championships and recently cleared 13 feet to move into the top spot on the 4A leaderboard.
