Top Races To Watch At Saturday's Bullis Bulldog Invitational

Girls 200

Only a junior, Girard College's (PA) Thelma Davies has already amassed nine individual state titles in the 50/60, 100 and 200, as well as five top-four finishes at indoor and outdoor nationals. (Photo by Don Rich)

Meet Record: Daija Lampkin (Middletown (DE)) - 23.63, 2017

Last year Middletown's (DE) Daija Lampkin became the first girl in the meet's history to crack 24 seconds in the 200, and she left absolutely no doubt about it. However, this year's meet features a ridiculously deep field in the 200, with 14 girls entered with seed times under 25 seconds. Maryland state champions among them include Jaida Smith (Frederick), Tylar Colbert (Franklin), Dominique Jeffery (Lackey), and Cameron Hinton (Franklin). They'll have to go toe-to-toe with a very strong field of out-of-state competitors including state champions Thelma Davies (Girard College), Shadajah Ballard (Western Branch) and Britton Wilson (Mills Godwin).
