Henrico's LaChyna Roe recorded one of the best marks in state history for an underclassmen in the triple jump with her remarkable leap of 40'1" to break the event meet record at the historic Dogwood Track Classic. Only three girls in state history have went farther as sophomores with Yolanda Thompson of West Potomac holding the sophomore class state record at 40'4" from 1997.
