Top Freshmen Boys Times From Maryland State XC Meet: A Race For #1 9th Grader By Saxon & Diehl

Check out the top freshmen boys times from the 2015 Maryland State XC Championships. Daniel Saxon of Liberty and Justin Diehl of Calvert, two of the state's best freshmen this fall, got the chance to race each other head to head in the 2A boys state race on Saturday and found themselves running close to each other throughout. Saxon was able to pull just ahead though at the finish by 3 seconds in a time of 16:48 with both finishing in the top 4 impressively as ninth graders.
