Girls Invitational Mile: Haley Jackson and Maria Coffin, arguably Maryland's top female distance runners, will face each other on the track for the first time since the 2014 outdoor season. They raced head to head at the start of the cross country season in one of the fastest races of the season at the Seahawk Invite and then at season's end at Foot Locker Northeast when Coffin qualified for nationals at San Diego. Coffin opened her season with a 5:08 1600 on Monday, while Jackson is the state's fastest returning miler with a 4:54 1600 PR from last spring.
Note: 4:47 miler Rachel McArthur from Patriot High School in Virginia is entered, but will not be racing on Saturday.
