Nyjari McNeil Turns The Lights Back On At PG
The power and lights went out at PG during Wednesday's 3A Central Regional that had to send teams outside of the facility and risk the meet potentially being postponed to a later date. However, thanks to Nyjari McNeil and her 1:15.74 effort when the lights came back on, the meet ended up finishing that same night running full steam ahead. The Franklin sophomore McNeil ended up coming back to win the 800 in a time of 2:19 as well in a fine double. Power was restored by a state title favorite.
