The Formation Of Dream Teams In All-Star Relays!

The unique format of this meet allows for superstars from other teams to join forces to create All-Star relays. Kicking things off will be the boys 4x800 meter relay featuring top middle distance runners from Montgomery County and Prince George's County squaring off. 4A boys 800 state champ Thierry Siewe leads the Montgomery County All-Stars all with legs under , while Cameron Burgess, Nikolas Thomas, Gerald Amobi, and Gary Ross have all been hovering around 1:54-1:56 range this spring from the PG County All-Stars. Potential for a team to go after 7:40 or faster?
Later in the evening, another loaded PG County All-Star could be found in the 4x400 meter relay with the likes of Tajh Gilchrist. Brian Nelson, Gerard Amobi, and Nikolas Thomas. Maybe a time approaching 3:10 could be in the cards for a group that could average 48 second splits per legs.
Also on the girls side, the Southern Maryland All-Stars including athletes from Charles County and PG County will be showing up in the 4x200 and 800 SMR with Maryland state champions Mary Foday, Sydney Williams, and Mallorie Smith running on relays together.
The meet will be allowing meet day All-Star relays to form as well. so we could see some more outstanding All-Star relays come together on meet day!
