While many runners prefer the warmer temperatures and faster course down in Cary, North Carolina, Lang was one of the few Maryland girls to travel to New York City for the Foot Locker Northeast Regional. She would finish 16th in the girls championship race, just six spots away from a trip to the Foot Locker National Meet in December.
