Taye ran the best cross country race of her high school career at the NXN Southeast Regionals in Cary, NC. Her 18:08.10 time was a personal best by 14 seconds and 26 seconds faster than the next-fastest Maryland girl, Walter Johnson's Abigail Green (who beat Taye at the state championships).
