Bowie's Tajh Gilchrist broke out as a senior in 2016, becoming one of the most dominant sprinters in the state of Maryland. He showcased his range during the indoor season, finishing with the MD #1 55, MD #2 300 and MD #9 500. One of his faster performances in the 55 meter dash came at the Prince George's County Championships where he won by over a tenth of a second in a field that featured five boys who dipped under 6.6 seconds.
