Top 100 Girls Sprint Rankings: Top Hurdler Rankings Airtight Heading Into January

• Check out the top 100 girls rankings in the sprint events (55, 300, 500, 55 hurdles) heading into the 2017 calendar year. Two of the top girls hurdlers in the state went head-to-head this past week at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic in New York. Bullis' Alexis Postell won with a state-leading time of 8.18 while Lackey's Sydney Williams finished third. The top of the girls hurdles leaderboard is crowded with the first four girls separated by just 0.07 seconds.

Franklin's Cameron Hinton overtook the top position on the girls 500 leaderboard at this past week's F.I.T. Invitational. Her teammate Nyjari McNeil had held the top spot but Hinton's time of 1:15.61 marks the first time a Maryland runner has cracked 1:16 this winter. Franklin now holds the top two spots in the girls 500 meter dash heading into January.
