Oxon Hill senior Gary Ross had himself a memorable quadruple in Thursday's Prince George's County Indoor Championships. His four races including putting down two fast splits of a 1:56 and 49 seconds high in the 4x800 and 4x400 respectively, while winning individual titles in both the 500 (1:04.85) and 800 (1:56.32).
The 500 time by Ross is the state's leading performance in the event and ranks #5 in the United States, while he improves upon his MD #1 time in the 800 and moves up to US #5 in the event. Their 4x800 meter relay was bumped out of the US #1 spot by a New York squad's 7:55 run, but still run a season best and improve their US #2 time of 8:03.03.
