One of the top mid-distance runners in the state, Donovan finished second in the 500 at the IAAM Championships last weekend. However, she also recently added another dimension to her track and field repertoire: the shot put. She threw 33'1.25 as a junior in 2015-16 which was her personal best heading into January. However, Donovan destroyed that mark at the IAAM Championships, picking up the win with a 37'4.50 effort. The mark moved her up to seventh in the state in the event.
