Last year's senior class of girls in the 2A classification was one of the best the state of Maryland has ever seen. Hayley Jackson and Julien Webster would go on to qualify for Foot Locker Nationals and both Kelly Wesolowski and Reilly Caldwell clocked sub-18:45 5Ks during their senior seasons. Thanks to classification realignment, this year's front pack at the state meet might look a lot like last year's 3A race, as the trio of Nandini Satsangi, Heather Delaplaine and Jasmine Tiamfook all figure to be in the mix of what should be a wide open field heading into the fall.
1. Nandini Satsangi (Junior, Poolesville)
2. Heather Delaplaine (Senior, Damascus)
3. Jasmine Tiamfook (Senior, River Hill)
4. Emily Konkus (Junior, Hereford)

6. Natalie Poulton (Senior, Century)
