Top 500 Girls Times From Opening Weekend: Facius Makes Case For Top Private School Runner

Every year the Seahawk Invitational draws some of the best runners from across the state on the first weekend of fall racing. This year, Mount de Sales junior Samantha Facius emerged victorious, clocking the second-fastest time of the weekend (just a fraction of a second behind Brunswick Invitational winner Nandini Satsangi). After breaking out last spring with a 4:36 1500 on the track she now may be rising toward the title of best private school runner in the state.
