Two of Maryland's biggest high school track stars last year both ventured to State College, PA for their college destination with Baltimore Poly's William Henderson and Oxon Hill's Gary Ross now freshmen at Penn State University. Both Maryland home grown talents have made immediately impacts for the Nittany Lions with Henderson having dipped over 8 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles and 7.29 meters in the long jump, while Ross has clocked an 800 meter personal best of 1:51.
