The Bethesda-Chevy Chase girls come in ranked second in our returning virtual meet in part because of rising senior Rosalind Van Der Does de Willebois. She did not compete at the county or regional meets last season, but she ran a season-best 20:10 at the Great American Cross Country Festival and finished 52nd at the state meet. She could be one of the top contenders for a top-ten finish among runners not on the list below.
Top Returners From 2018 Meet
Last year's top two runners are back. Charlotte Turesson made trekking through the mud and water at Bohrer Park last year look easy as she gapped the field by 18 seconds. All told, it was a young field last year, as ten of the top 13 runners are slated to return in 2019.
