Calvert's Carter Singletary is the last remaining member of a core group that finished third, second and third at the state meet over the past three seasons. A 2A state finalist and 1:59 800 runner, Singletary will be one of the top runners to watch at this year's SMAC championships, where he is the third-fastest returner from last year.

No team has more than two runners on this year's top returners list, which is part of the reason why the team scores for the virtual meet are so close. It's worth noting that North Point junior Joshua Doughty had the top time at the state meet among all SMAC returners.
