Adam Szatanek of Huntingtown is competing in the Championship Shotput this weekend!

Adam Szatanek of Huntingtown has been on a roll this entire season. In his 4 meets so far this season, he has accomplished an MD #1 throw of 58-5.25 at the 3A Indoor T&F State Championships and has been consistently improving throughout the season. Szatanek currently ranks #34 nationally in the shot put and is looking to throw even farther this weekend.
Last season, Szatanek placed 2nd outdoors in shotput and 3rd at discus but has since improved by almost 8 feet since then. He is undefeated throughout the DMV area so far this season and looks to continue his shot put dominance, hopefully cracking 60 feet at the national meet.
