What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment? Why is that?
My most memorable moment is being conference champions and regional champions, also placing second in 4 x 800 states 2020 indoor and 2022 indoor seasons
Was there a certain moment or breakthrough race/meet when you realized you would be able to compete at a high level?
Freshman year when I made it all the way to regionals, placing 15 out of 40+ runners in the 1600
What are some bumps in the road that you've encountered when it comes to training for different events during the season?
Being able to overcome my trouble breathing, definitely did not help while running long distances
If you are writing a letter to your younger freshman self, what advice might you give them?
Run cross country and not play high school soccer. You will realize you live track and could be so much better if you got your mileage up
If you had to pick: Track and Field or Cross Country, and why? (If you only run Track, then don't worry about explaining why).
Track and Field
What are your post-high school or college plans? If Running in college, explain why you picked that school.
Hopefully, to run for Salisbury university, I'm attending the school and reached out to the xc/track coach. He gave me a summer workout and encourages me to work hard on it to be able to meet a certain goal to run for them. I chose them because I heard it's a pretty good program and I would love to keep running.
What is your favorite pre-race snack, tradition, etc.?
Pre-race I always eat a Banana or on the way to meets peanut butter and jelly
Name the top Maryland Cross Country or Track moment(s) you have witnessed. Could be by the level of greatness or just something that really stood out to you.
From our 4x200 relay went into new balance nationals ranking 8th and witnessing them get 2nd place. Also my 4 x 800 team 2022 outdoor year improved so much to potentially win states but sadly was dq'ed at regionals
Who would you like to say "thank you" to?
I would like to say thank you to Isaiah Shulties, Finn Walsh, Alex and Will Ransone, Isayah Stewart, and Sarah Van Ornum who have put a huge impact on my running life and believed in me for improving and helping our team score points to win titles and medals.
Is there anything else you would like to mention that stands out over the past 4 years?
Seeing the growth of me and my teammates over the last 4 years. Could not be more proud of myself and my teammates. Good luck to everyone I have run with or tan against these last 4 years.
