After the majority of the top 10 teams ran at the MDXC invitational the power rankings shuffled around a little bit. Thomas Wootton remains at the top after another dominating win, however, picking between 2-3-4 is extremely tough. Only 3 points separated Hereford, McDonogh, and Severna Park in the Black and Gold Division and only 5.5 points separated them in the Combined results. Unfortunately, I don't know if these 3 will race again this season (Unless they travel to NXR).
Northern Calvert made a big jump up to 5 after running their full Varsity and finishing 5th at MDXC. They are now the favorite to win 3A states.
Walter Johnson ran well at the Manhattan Invite finishing 21st in the combined merge. They ran 16:38 1-5 average for 4k (Roughly converts to a 21:02 5k Average)
Walt Whitman also joins the top 10 after a solid run at MDXC with a strong performance from their #1 Katie Greenwald running 18:41 for 4th.
Reservoir joined the Bubble Teams list after finishing 2nd at Frank Keyser (Top MD School). They look to be coming on strong as we are about to enter the post-season!
