Allegany County gets the championship season started on October 12. While a small county, there may be no bigger rivalry in Maryland than between Fort Hill and Allegany. Read below for the full preview. 

Boys Team: Mountain Ridge is the favorite on paper 27-47 over Allegany with Fort hill close behind with 55 points. With that said, you never know how a race could play out till its run, especially when it's a championship race!

Boys Individual: Casey Culler from Mountian Ridge should take the lead early and never give it up. His season PR is about 30 seconds faster than his teammate, projected runner-up Akerly Mulcaster.

Girls Team: Led by Mary Delaney the Mountain Ridge girls should have the depth to win this race easily. Look for them to possibly place all 7 of their runners in the top 10. The battle for second between Fort Hill and Allegany should be a close one!

Girls Individual: Mountain Ridge standout Mary Delaney looks to be the big favorite as she is almost 2 mins faster than Fort Hill's Camryn Rice. However, the battle for second between Rice and Allegany's Morgan Trautwein should be a good one as both runner's season PRs are only 4 seconds apart.
