Champs NE Regional (Formally Footlocker) - Maryland Entries

Some of Maryland's top athletes will be traveling up North to compete in the Champs Northeast Regional Meet (Formally known as Garmin/FootLocker).

Leah Stephens (Good Counsel) has high hopes to qualify for the National Championships. Her 16:54 5k PR ranks her 13th in the United States. 

3A State Champ Hannah Toth (Westminster) will be competing and will look to carry the success she had this season into this postseason race. Toth has a 5k PR of 18:51 earlier this season. 

Charlie Butler (Mount Saint Joseph), will also be competing in the meet. Butler ran the fastest 3-mile time in Maryland this year (14:54) up at the McQuaid Invitational earlier this year. 

Centennial High's strong duo of Sebastian Martinez (Centennial) and Antonio Camacho-Bucks will be looking to redeem themselves a little from their State Championship performance. Camacho-Bucks ran extremely well at Van Cortland Park earlier this season as he finished 2nd at the prestigious Manhatten Invite. If he runs as he did there on Saturday, then he has a strong chance to qualify.

Other notable entries include boys 3A State Champ Henry Hopper (Wilde Lake), Grace Finnegan (Richard Montgomery), Gabrielle Shord (Atholton), Tyler Edson (Liberty), Caroline McCaffery (Mt. Hebron), and Hallie Shepard (Catonsville). Check out the full list below
