Bullis stays the top team in the state and its hard to see this changing. The Bulldogs depth is incredible as they have had 9 girls run under 61 seconds for 400m. They have national calibar talent in all sprinting events and jumps. Their 4x200 leads the nation as they ran 1:37 at the VA Showcase.

Elise and Ella Cooper have been impressive so far this season. Elise has run 37.9 for a state leading mark in the 300m. Ella was not far behind, running 39.8 Mary Gorsky has started to heat up in the distance events and complimenting the deep sprint depth that the Eagles have.

Jasmine Cook, Ariana Wright, and Isabella Shanley have shined this indoor season and are 3 of the top sprinters in the state. Cook owns the top 55m dash time in all public schools running 7.14. When you have 3 trong sprinters it means you also have very good sprint relays. The Patriots will be in the mix to win both 4x200 and 4x400 state titles.

CH Flowers has dominated in the field events this season as Nina Pitt and Jaelynn Blackwell place high in the state in the Long, Triple, and High. Unfortunately the long and triple are not contested at the Regional and State meet. Flowers has also showen strong relay depth and should be in contention to win all 3 post season championship meets.

The Wildcats have shown depth in all event groups this season. They just (Slightly) lowered their top 4x8 time in the state (9:43). Megan and MacKenzie Raue have run well in the 800 and 1600 and Carolyn Hultman has run 1:19 for 500 and is a strong long sprinter.

The Patriots looked strong winning the Anne Arundel Invite over winter break. They score in almost every event. Gabby Cope and Annie Campbell are two of the top throwers in the state and will both place high in the Shot during this postseason. Gayle Henderson is a strong long sprinter and has run 1:20 for 500m. Ella Meccia has not raced a ton this season, but should place high in the upcoming post season meets.

Athena Stith has the top Long Jump mark in Maryland as she jumped 18-5 last week. She has also jumped 36 feet in the Triple Jump. Grace Doerchester has run well this season. She ran 5:19 for 1600 at the VA Showcase. Spalding is also strong in relays and has run 10:01 for the 4x800.

Sierra Swangin just tied the MD#1 High Jump of 5-4 at the Montgomery Invitational. Brooke Cochran has run 41.6 for 300m and Mame Diop has jumped 36-11. Add all of this with strong sprint relays and Blake is one of the top teams in the state.

The Scorpians drop a little due to an injury to Frankie Moore and the uncertainty of her status for the post season. With that said the Scorpians are still very strong. Alicia Hall is one of the best jumpers in the state and OM sprint relays should place high in all post season meets.

Arayana Ladson has run extremely well so far this season. She has ran 7.14 for the 55d and 8.51 for the 55 Hurdles as well as jumped voer 18 feet for the Long jump. Rumor has it that Junior Sameena Mathew will be competing this post season. She did not run for Hebron last year, however has run 58 seconds for 400m this indoor season and is one of the top long sprinters in the state.
