200m - 21.04 - Jermaine Lewis (Eleanor Roosevelt) in 1992. Judson Lincoln (Oakland Mills) ran 20.90 in 2022, which is the fastest FAT time recorded at the State Meet. Lewis ran 21.80 hand timed, which is converted up to 21.04. 

3200m - 9:06.13 - Solomon Haile (Sherwood) in 2008

James Partlow has run 9:18 this outdoor season but ran 8:56 Indoors. He has the ability to, but the question will be can he do it running alone?

4x200 Relay - 1:26.25 (Henry Wise) in 2012

300m Hurdles - 39.0 - Derek Martin (Smithsburg) in 2006 -

Tori Willis (Cambridge South Dorchester) has run 38.79 this season, 0.21 seconds faster than the current state record.

4x200m Relay - 1:27.19 Oakland Mills - 2000

Friendly has run 1:26.65 this season. 

4x400m Relay - Northwestern B - 3:22.35 - 2011

Friendly has run 3:22.51 this season. 

Long Jump - 23-01.5 - David Alexander (Sollers Point) in 1966

Furious Trammel (Catoctin) jumped 22-11.5 earlier this year and will have a great opportunity at this 58-year-old record. 

High Jump - 6-08 - Mike Savoy (Gwynn Park) and Bill Lawrence (Smithsburg)

Jacob Faith (Clear Spring) and Larry Stewart (Kent County) have both cleared 6-06 this season. 

Discus - 168-00 - Carter Hess (Fort Hill) in 2023

Carter Hess (Fort Hill) has a great opportunity to break his own State record. He has thrown 171-11 earlier this season, 4 feet further than his current record.

100m - 10.65 - Jasper Savey (Gwynn Park) in 2012

Ameer Mowad (Eastern Tech) has run 10.54 this season

1600. - 4:14.83 - Andrew Revelle (Atholton) in 2007

Three athletes have a shot at taking this record down. Ryan Hartranft (Century) and Ben Marks (Queen Anne's) have both run 4:15 this season and Eric Penkala (Southern-AA) has run 4:16. With all three racing each other it could end in a new state record!

4x200 Relay - 1:26.90 (Oakland Mills) in 2022

Westlake has run 1:26.24 this season, under the current record. 

200m - 21.09 - Talil Atkins (Poly) in 2022

Coleman Hallums (Mt. Hebron) and Marlin Newsome (Centennial) have both run 21.18 this year, less than a tenth of a second off the record. 

400m - 47.52 - Judson Lincoln (Oakland Mills) in 2022

Jayden Deleon (Oakland Mills) and Lamont Johnson ( Digitial Harbor) have run times this season near the current record. Deleon has run 47.40 and Johnson has run 47.46

100m - 10.42 - Kamel Winfield Jr. (Old Mill) in 2022

Roman Spikes (Paint Branch) has run 10.46 this season. 

200m - 21.04 - Jermaine Lewis (Eleanor Roosevelt)  in 1992

The Spikes brothers will both be trying to get this record. Nick has run 20.91 and Roman has run 21.03, both under the current record. 

1600m - 4:04.09 - Matthew Centrowitz (Broadneck) in 2007

It's hard to believe that an Olympic gold medalist record is in jeopardy but James Partlow (Thomas Johnson) is having that kind of year. He ran 4:08 earlier this year and seems to save his best races for the end of the year! He will most likely need to run this by himself, which will make the record more challenging to get (But Centro ran 4:04 by himself as well!)

4x100 Relay - 41.64 (Eleanor Roosevelt) in 1992

CH Flowers and Bowie are both chasing this record. CH Flowers has run 41.82 and Bowie has run 41.89 this year, just a few tenths off the record. 

4x200 Relay - 1:26.25 (Henry A Wise) in 2012

Paint Branch and Bowie have both run well under this record this season. Paint Branch has run 1:25.13 and Bowie has run 1:25.52.
