Mike and John Roemer have made the proper preparations for Saturdays big race. The dip has 2 separate paths that can be run on the far side. The alternate course is set up in case it is needed. All courses were measured today and are 3 miles.
You can help though by using the mulch path when doing the course walk it will save wear and tear. The mulch path will be used for the b races because of the large volume of runners. The normal path will be used for a races. The distance is same for both paths.
Please do not call Hereford High School. The race is on and will go on as scheduled. Good luck, and be sure to thank Mike and John for all of their hard work.
Just a side note for any who are interested. Mike\'s daughter was the youngest qualifier in this summers USA swimming Olympic Trials. At the age of 14 his daughter qualified in several events.
