Last week the PG Sports and Learning Complex, where the majority of Maryland Meets are held, including the MPSSAA State Championships, stated that the Indoor track, would be closed for the 2023-2024 season. However, after following up with the Complex, they released a statement that said that the track should re-open sometime in early December. While this may affect some of the first meets of the season, it should not prevent the Indoor season from occurring. Below is the update from the PG Sports and Learning Complex:
*UPDATE: The Sports and Learning Complex indoor track renovations are expected to be completed by Winter 2024. The 2023- 2024 indoor track season will be minimally affected by the closure.
