Meet Page with Results, Articles, Videos, and Photos - HERE

The #1 Ranked Calvert Hall boys impressed at the ADIDAS Challenge, winning the meet down in North Carolina. The Cardinals placed thier top 5 within the top 67 runners and had a 5k average of 15:38. Cameron Davis led them with a 7th place finish running 14:59, which ranks him second all-time in Maryland history! Rei Rahsaan Nettey also placed high, running 15:22 for 12th.

They easily won the meet scoring 122 points, 80 points ahead of runner-up Nease High School out of Florida.

Calvert Hall has goals to qualify for nationals this year so running the Wake Med course where the Nike Regional course is held, is good prep for that meet later in the year. Based on what they ran today if you were to plug those times into last year's NXR meet. they would score roughly 146 points (1-9-19-44-73) and would have finished 3rd. With lots of time to continue to improve, they will definitely be in the mix for a chance to qualify for nationals.

They placed all 5 girls within the top 50 and were led by Caroline Gregory who placed 5th overall with a time of 18:56. Their 1-5 average was 20:21, which would have placed them 17th in the Championship division.

The #1 Ranked girl in Maryland, Evelyn Rogers (Elizabeth Seton), also competed at the ADIDAS XC Challenge. She won the Challenge Division with a time of 18:28, over a minute faster than the second-place finisher. Her time would have placed 21st in the Championship Division. She ran much faster earlier this season so it would have been since to see her compete against some of the national calabar talent in the Championship Race!
