Maryland Cross County Invitational
(MDXC) Preview
With 82 schools signed up to run, the Maryland XC Invitational will be the largest meet in Maryland this year! (Bull Run would have been larger if the weather had not delayed its initial date). In its third year, the meet has attracted some of the top teams from all over the state due to its well-placed timing prior to the start of the Championship season, location to the Baltimore metro area, as well as being a very fast course at the Shawan Downes horse track. There will be timing mats for splits at the 1-mile, 2-mile, 3-mile, and 5k spots on the course, live results, and music. It's looking like a great experience to be a part of! Hopefully, the weather improves a little as they are calling for rain Friday night into Saturday morning, but either way, the competition looks to be top-notch!
